Individual Giving
The Office of Individual Giving oversees the cultivation of gifts from individual philanthropists by the Office of Leadership Giving (OLG), as well as the offices of Gift Planning and Special Constituencies.
OLG has primary responsibility for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift prospects and donors. Members of OLG work closely with MIT’s administration and faculty, the many areas of Resource Development, the development efforts in the schools, and the Alumni/ae Association to cultivate gifts of $100,000 or more.
