From health care to the nature of work, the Covid-19 pandemic has magnified long-standing inequalities and brought them center stage. Join a lively interchange as influential business and policy leaders and renowned scientists, engineers, and researchers from MIT and beyond share fresh knowledge about these urgent challenges and explore new strategies for policy and action.

To open this event, Mariana Matus PhD ’18 and Newsha Ghaeli, Biobot Analytics cofounders, will take us on a prerecorded underground expedition to explore how their unique technology creates real-time public health profiles of urban areas by sampling a city’s wastewater to track the spread of Covid-19.
