Communications, Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship
The Communications, Events, Donor Relations and Stewardship (CEDRS) team serves as an in-house creative agency that creates and implements strategies to support donor engagement, fundraising, and stewardship while showcasing and building the MIT story of philanthropy.
CEDRS partners with members of the advancement community and stakeholders across the Institute to support fundraising and donor relations at MIT by:
- Creating multichannel campaigns and print and digital assets
- Writing customized gift proposals
- Featuring stories of impact and ways to support MIT in Spectrum and Corridor and on the Better World website
- Planning, executing, and marketing high-level events
- Fostering the relationship between the Institute and its donors
- Crafting design and branding guidelines and templates
- Maintaining an editorial style guide to promote clear, error-free communications
- Conceptualizing and producing custom gifts to recognize transformational donors
