Foundation Relations

The Office of Foundation Relations (OFR) develops strategic approaches to private foundations and philanthropic entities to maximize support for MIT. OFR builds on existing relationships through meaningful engagement with leading foundations in the United States and a number of key international entities, and facilitates new collaborations in close partnership with Institute leadership, faculty, and staff. OFR also identifies and communicates with senior leaders, faculty, and school-based development staff about relevant foundation opportunities and current trends in the field.
