Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management

Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management (HR/STM) is a shared services unit responsible for leading Resource Development (RD) and the MIT Alumni Association (AA) in initiatives aimed at attracting talent, fostering strategic engagement, and guiding performance and professional development in support of MIT’s advancement goals.

HR/STM oversees staffing and retention, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, professional development, compensation, and rewards and recognition. HR/STM facilitates all organizational changes within RD and AA and drives the effort to create a comprehensive talent management strategy for fundraising and engagement.

RD and AA are committed to cultivating a culture of employee engagement and inclusivity within our community by emphasizing mutual understanding and professional respect in our collaborative endeavors.
